International Students are allowed to get a driver’s license or Nevada identification card through the Department of Motor Vehicles.
There are a variety of churches in Las Vegas, as well as a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day-Saints and Catholic Newman Center on campus.
This unique area in the middle of Las Vegas houses many authentic Asian restaurants and grocery markets. Make sure to visit if you need to get away from the busy streets of Las Vegas.
Child Care and School Information
One of the hardest aspects of moving to a new city is uprooting your children. Not only are you here to participate in the learning process, but you can help your children learn as well. To find out where to register your children, which schools they may attend, and other information regarding the Las Vegas public schools, please visit the Clark County School District website.
UNLV offers preschool with CSUN, the UNLV Student Government, open to children between the ages of six weeks and five years. It is a highly sought-after and all-inclusive program that often has an enrollment waiting list.
