    For many years, Nevada has had the highest senior suicide rate in the nation. ICARE is working with the Nevada Coalition for Suicide Prevention to provide providing training to professionals on senior suicide prevention.

    ICARE worked with Jennifer Keene, a professor in the UNLV department of sociology, to update the chapter “Aging Trends and Challenges in Nevada” taken from the report Social Health of Nevada: Leading Indicators and Quality of Life in the Silver State.
