Newly Admitted Students

Welcome to the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration at UNLV. The Office for Student Advising (OSA) provides academic guidance for all undergraduate students in the Harrah Hotel College. Since advising is mandatory for all newly admitted students, you will need to be advised before registration for your first semester at UNLV can occur. Enrolling in the appropriate classes your first semester is essential to staying on track for graduation.

Fall Admit

Semesters Beginning in August

Freshman – Arriving in Fall with no college credits earned after high school graduation.

Transfer Student – Arriving in Fall with 1 or more college credits earned after high school graduation.

Spring or Summer Admit

Semesters Beginning in January or May

Freshman – Arriving in Spring or Summer with no college credits earned after high school graduation.

Transfer Student – Arriving in Spring or Summer with 1 or more college credits earned after high school graduation.
