The Department of Art at UNLV offers 5 NASAD accredited degrees and several exhibition spaces including the Donna Beam Gallery and Marjorie Barrick Museum in the unparalleled urban desert environment of Las Vegas. Highlights of our academic year include a Fall Visiting Artist Lecture Series and a Spring Artist in Residence program.

Entertainment industry employment and artistic opportunities abound in Las Vegas. Advanced-level dancers are working professionally while completing their dance degrees.

The School of Architecture provides professional and continuing education in the design professions of architecture, landscape architecture, interior architecture, and design. In addition to addressing the theoretical and pragmatic aspects of general design education, the school focuses on important design issues facing Las Vegas, the state of Nevada, and the Southwest.
