Modeled after the critically-acclaimed PBS documentary, "MAKERS: Women Who Make America," the UNLV Women’s Research Institute of Nevada (WRIN), in partnership with Vegas PBS, produced "MAKERS: Women in Nevada History." The program, designated a Sesquicentennial Event, is a three-part series developed in recognition of the 100th anniversary of Nevada’s woman suffrage and shares the stories of extraordinary women who have shaped Nevada.
