Description
The goal of this presentation is to gain an understanding of what trauma-informed care is, what it looks like, and the significance of adverse trauma experiences in our community. Attendees will be able to define and identify the different types of trauma and its prevalence on the UNLV community.
Topics include: trauma definitions, development, secondary trauma, and empathy.
