Topics of Discussion:
Teaching and Research Statements are purposeful and reflective essays required as part of many faculty job applications. These statements include your beliefs about teaching, learning, and research, as well as concrete examples of the ways you enact these beliefs in the classroom and your scholarship. This fun and interactive session has been designed to discuss how to write statements and why they are a beneficial component of your application for a position in academia.
