Improve Your Instruction with Classroom Assessment Techniques
Classroom assessment is a learner-centered, formative assessment practice that enables instructors to find out what students are learning in the classroom and how well they are understanding it. It engages students in their own learning and provides an opportunity for instructors to course correct as necessary!
Attendees will be able to: 1) identify classroom assessment techniques appropriate for their learning goals, discipline, and class context; and 2) consider how they will use the results of classroom assessment techniques to improve teaching and learning.
Facilitator: Melissa Bowles-Terry, Head of Educational Initatives in the University Libraries
This event is part of the University Libraries' Faculty & Graduate Student Workshop Series.
