In co-sponsorship with the UNLV Graduate College, Brookings Mountain West is pleased to offer a workshop with Brookings Senior Fellow in Economic Studies, and Co-Director of the Center on Children and Families, Dr. Ron Haskins. Haskin's research focuses on evidence-based policymaking in the areas of poverty, education, marriage, welfare policy, and quality of life. He is eager to speak with students about his research areas, experience working in think-tanks, and how best to prepare for a career in public policy, government, and beyond.
