Active Learning: Engage students through problem solving, reflection, and learning groups

This workshp is an opportunity for instructors and future instructors to share teaching ideas that create opportunities for students to engage new material, apply information, and better retain and transfer new information. We will explore practices such as problem solving, case studies, reflective writing, and structured learning groups.

Attendess will be able to: 1) articulate learning outcomes for a class session; and 2) identify at least one learning activity that will engage students that is appropriate for the learning goal, discipline, and class context.
