Join us for a presentation by Gordon Lee Gillespie, Ph.D., DNP, RN, CEN, CNE, CPEN, PHCNS-BC, FAEN, FAAN on workplace violence against emergency department workers. Dr. Gillespie has been a registered nurse for over 20 years working in critical care, emergency department, pediatric, prehospital care, public health, and academic settings.  His research efforts derive from his clinical practice and responding to patient, visitor, and coworker aggression. His research has been funded by the CDC-National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, American Nurses Foundation, and Emergency Nurses Association Foundation. His significant individual and national/international contributions derive from his research on workplace violence against healthcare workers. Because of his substantive contributions, he was invited by CDC-National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health to develop an educational program on workplace bullying and consult on two national online learning modules.
