Wilderness First Aid
You're out for a hike, 5 miles from the parking lot with a storm rolling in. Your friend falls and breaks their leg. You have no cell service. What do you do?
Let us teach you in our Remote and Wilderness First Aid course. This two-day, 16-hour course will cover everything from animals and insects, weather considerations, bumps, bruises, cuts, sprains, breaks, medical trauma—you name it! This course is being run through UNLV as an approved American Red Cross training and will teach you to recreate safely in the backcountry. If you venture into the woods, you should take this class.
Course Prerequisite: First Aid, CPR, and AED Certifications.
Included in price: equipment, course certification in Wilderness First Aid from the American Red Cross, course reference book.
