Researchers across the UNLV enterprise have long been tackling the suite of challenges posed by climate change. Dr. Kristen Averyt will present an overview of the changing climate of Southern Nevada in the context of recent public policy, and discuss opportunities for UNLV to enhance the climate resilience and sustainability of our local communities, and our campus, beyond our current research portfolio.
