Description
Through WebCampus powered by Canvas, students can access content for any courses in which they are enrolled. The focus of this course is on best practices in online education for utilizing WebCampus, whether teaching face-to-face, online, or hybrid courses. You will learn about utilizing the Community of Inquiry (COI) Framework - a teaching lens that can help outline the process of creating learning experiences and help instructors move between in-person and online environments. With the COI framework in mind, we will focus on leveraging the strengths of WebCampus and Canvas tools in different course modalities to create and enhance learning opportunities and different levels of engagement for students, along with strengthening measures for academic integrity.
By the end of the webinar, participants will be able to:
- Navigate to and locate their course in WebCampus
- Identify the tools in WebCampus that can help incorporate the community of inquiry framework
- Utilize WebCampus features to gather student work via online submissions
- Identify how to import learning materials and resources into a WebCampus course
- Create and organize a central repository of content and materials for students, in all teaching modalities.
- Use WebCampus tools and features to support student engagement, inclusion, and academic integrity.
