Description
As one of the most expensive and violent conflicts has torn the heart of Europe for the past seven months news has become increasingly unsettling; analyses are numerous; solutions are inadequate. What makes sense about this war in Ukraine? What is the larger picture?
All are invited to attend War in Ukraine as Dr. Paul Werth from the history department and Kim Golubev a Ph.D. student in the English department talk about the historical context, cultural themes, and existential threats the Russian invasion of Ukraine situates and creates. A question and answer session will follow the main presentation.
