Have you ever wanted to engage with policymakers, but didn’t know where to start? This workshop will cover the basics of contacting your legislator, making your voice heard, and submitting opinions and comments on agenda items that affect higher education.

By participating in this workshop you will:

  • Learn how to engage with the local and state legislature
  • Learn how to make a public comment
  • Understand the governing structures of NSHE and the Board of Regents
