UNLVino, Las Vegas’ longest running fundraiser, returns for its 44th year. This time around, all of the elements that attendees have come to love over the years will be packed into one incredible evening featuring an all-star line-up of wineries, spirits-makers, world-class champagne, Asian flare with a refined sake list, craft beers, and award-winning chefs and restaurants. The event takes place on Saturday, April 14, 2018, from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m., at the Keep Memory Alive Event Center at Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health in downtown Las Vegas’ Symphony Park.
Combining community spirit with renowned wines and culinary spectacle, UNLVino serves as the year’s largest scholarship benefit for students of UNLV’s William F. Harrah College of Hospitality. The college – one of the world’s leading hospitality schools – is celebrating its 50th anniversary, and UNLVino will mark the occasion with 50 unique pairing experiences from its roster of contributors, which currently includes Chef Scott Conant’s Masso Osteria, Brian Howard’s Sparrow + Wolf, Brian Massie’s Hearthstone, Gustav Mauler’s Spiedini Ristorante, Rick Moonen’s rm seafood, Mitsuo Endo’s Raku and Sweets Raku, Paul Bartolotta’s Ristorante Bartolotta and T-Bones Chophouse. The event will also be supported by Strip resorts including The Venetian and The Palazzo as well as Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa, among others.
This year’s UNLVino will also serve as a tribute to a Nevada icon, as guests raise their glasses to toast the legacy of industry pioneer Donald Carano, co-founder of Ferrari-Carano Vineyards and Winery and the recipient of the 2018 Dom Pérignon Award of Excellence.
