UNLV Wind Orchestra: The President's Concert

The UNLV Wind Orchestra welcomes special guests Las Vegas area French Legion of Honor recipients for "The President's Concert." Artistic Director & Conductor Thomas G. Leslie leads the concert with guest conductors, including:

  • Col. John R. Bourgeois, Director Emeritus, United States Marine Band, "The President's Own"
  • Lt. Colonel Dr. James M. Bankhead, former conductor, United States Air Force Band, "Americas Own," and
  • Zane S. Douglass, UNLV Visiting Instructor of Conducting.

Guest vocalists include:

  • Tod Fitzpatrick, Associate Professor, UNLV School of Music, baritone soloist
  • Lillian Roberts, UNLV School of Music Alumnus, soprano soloist
  • Erin Gonzalez, mezzo-soprano soloist
  • Celeste Dixon, mezzo-soprano soloist



$10 - All Seats

$8 discounted tickets are available to seniors, military members, and UNLV Faculty and Staff. All students may receive one free ticket with valid ID.

Event Parking

UNLV Performing Arts Center patrons are welcome to park in the Cottage Grove Parking Garage. Parking is free after 7 p.m. Monday - Thursday, after 1 p.m. Friday, and all weekend. Visit UNLV Parking and Transportation Services for more information.
