Each spring for over twenty years, the Department of Film has been pleased to sponsor an annual festival to celebrate and showcase the art of short films. Spring Flicks is open to UNLV student filmmakers, UNLV alumni, and other filmmakers who are 18 years of age or older. Find submission details.

The screenings for the festival are free and members of the public are welcome. For the 2018 festival, submissions will be shown on Friday, April 20th and Saturday, April 21st from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. in 109 FDH (the Flora Dungan Humanities Building) on UNLV's campus.

Samantha Alexander and Conor Hooper are coordinating this year’s festival, which is directed by faculty advisor Heather Addison.
