Description

Through large-scale landscape paintings, sculptures, performances, and installations, Phaan Howng 洪恭凡 imagines the formidable beauty of a post-human earth in intense colors and camouflage patterns. Recent exhibition venues include: the Baltimore Museum of Art, the Smithsonian Arts and Industry Museum, Spring Break Art Show, and Arlington Arts Center. This summer, she was listed on Refinery29’s Top Young Female Contemporary Artists.

The UNLV Department of Art is fortunate to host cutting edge artists, designers, and art historians. These inspiring creative leaders visit the campus to engage with students.
