Elia Alba has exhibited widely, from Havana to Amsterdam. Exhibition venues include: The Rhode Island School of Design Museum and the Reina Sofía. Alba recently published a book on her project, The Supper Club, a series of photographs and conversations amongst artists of color about visual culture and race. Residencies include the Studio Museum in Harlem and the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council; awards include grants from the Pollock-Krasner and Joan Mitchell Foundations.

The UNLV Department of Art is fortunate to host cutting edge artists, designers, and art historians. These inspiring creative leaders visit the campus to engage with students.
