The UNLV Computational & Data Science Day event aims to provide a forum to bring together interested faculty, graduate students, and community members to meet and discuss interdisciplinary research and education to create potential collaborations on “Computational and Data Science and their Applications,” which plays very important roles in many areas.

Guest speaker: Professor Russel E. Caflisch, member of National Academy of Sciences and director of Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, New York University

Additional speakers include: Governor's Office of Workforce Innovation (GOWINN), faculty, and subject matter experts.
