The College of Liberal Arts' University Forum lecture series presents "Who Are We and How Do We Heal? Route 91 Inspired Identity Tapestry as a Classroom" a talk by Erika Gisela Abad, Professor of Interdisciplinary, Gender, and Ethnic Studies, UNLV.

Mary Corey March’s interactive wall installation, Identity Tapestry, was brought in as a vehicle to reflect on the effects of October 1. Using pictures of how the tapestry developed over time and pulling from visitors’ responses, this lecture will address how did the Identity Tapestry expand healing beyond the October 1 tragedy?
