The College of Liberal Arts’ University Forum Lecture Series presents Understanding Organized Hate, Violence and Political Extremism in the 21st Century, a talk by Pete Simi, associate professor of criminology & criminal justice, University of Nebraska, Omaha.
Dr. Simi draws upon twenty years of ethnographic research on the white supremacist movement to discuss the roots of violent political extremism, the pathways into and away from violent extremism, and ideas about countering organized hate and political violence in the U.S. and around the world.
