The College of Liberal Arts' University Forum Lecture Series presents "Wave Phenomena and the Mechanisms of Creativity" a talk by Michael Pravica, associate professor, Department of Physics, UNLV.

We live in a world full of waves including matter-waves which are governed by the uncertainty principle of quantum mechanics and wave-particle duality. Dr. Pravica will explain some basics about waves, discuss different wave types and how these phenomena enable our amazing creativity. Wave demonstrations will accompany the lecture.
