Description
The College of Liberal Arts' University Forum Lecture Series presents "Originalism After Scalia" a talk by Ian Chamberlin Bartrum, professor, Boyd School of Law.
Justice Antonin Scalia was probably the nation’s most outspoken advocate of the judicial philosophy known as “originalism”—which looks to the original meaning of constitutional text for interpretive guidance. This University Forum Lecture explores the future of originalism in both courts and classrooms in the wake of the justice’s passing.
