The College of Liberal Arts' University Forum Lecture Series presents "Conserving America’s National Parks During An Era of Global Change" a talk by Scott Abella, assistant professor, School of Life Sciences, UNLV.

With the year 2016 marking the Centennial of the National Park Service, the challenge of conserving national parks threatened by non-native species, climate change and increasing numbers of fires has never been greater. This lecture will highlight a number of inspiring conservation success stories that provide hope for the future of our parks under changing environmental conditions.
