The College of Liberal Arts’ University Forum Lecture Series presents African Immigrants in France and the Future of Europe, a talk by Loretta E. Bass, professor, department of sociology, University of Oklahoma.

Dr. Bass will discuss the experiences of African immigrant families in France and the implications for visible minorities throughout Europe, highlighting social cohesion as a framework for understanding ISIS recruitment, the Syrian refugee crises, and the incorporation of recent migrants from Africa and the Middle East.
