The College of Liberal Arts' University Forum lecture series presents "Jane Austen's 'Emma' and Film Adaptation: A Birthday Celebration" a talk by Timothy Erwin, Professor of English, UNLV.

Although Jane Austen’s “Pride and Prejudice” has enjoyed a wider variety of film treatments, it was “Emma” that launched the adaptation of her fiction for the silver screen in 1996. Join us in celebrating the timeless Jane Austen and her recent cinematic renaissance for her birthday.
