Description

The College of Liberal Arts' University Forum lecture series presents "The Importance of Storytelling in a Digital World" a talk by Shahab Zargari, Filmmaker and Communications Coordinator, College of Fine Arts, UNLV.

The talk examines how the art of storytelling is just as important now as ever, even in this fast-paced digital world.

Despite the fact that social media platform structures and shorter attention spans have become the norm, messaging devoid of a concrete story falls flat.

Award-winning filmmaker and UNLV College of Fine Arts communications specialist, Shahab Zargari, combines his years of experience in storytelling in the fields of video and social media management to shed some light on why storytelling is the backbone of any broadcasted message.
