Description
This workshop will expose students to the research cycle as well as how to conduct research at UNLV. Attendees will learn what type of activity constitutes as research and the process by which students conduct under the guidance of a faculty research mentor.
Learning Objectives: By participating in this workshop you will:

Develop a sense of what research is and where undergraduate research is placed within the larger context

Understand the diversity of approaches to defining, categorizing, and conducting research

Understand the elements of research education

Understand research as a process and identify its stages

This workshop is open to UNLV undergraduate students. Please RSVP at least 24 hours in advance for the workshop.
