The International TDoV is an annual celebration around the world. The day is dedicated to celebrating the accomplishments and victories of transgender & gender non-conforming people while raising awareness of the work that is still needed to save trans lives. The holiday was founded in 2009 as a reaction to the lack of LGBT holidays celebrating transgender people’s successes.

There will be three events in total: one on March 28 and two on April 9.

April 9

Roundtable **

5 – 6 PM at CSJ/Houssels House Library

A roundtable with UNLV administration for trans folks to address concerns they may have regarding their experiences in class and on campus. This event is solely for Trans/Genderqueer/GNC folks.

Ice Cream Social **

6 – 8 PM (after Roundtable) CSJ/Houssels House

Stick around after the roundtable to decompress, socialize with other trans peers, and enjoy the sweeter side of life. This event is solely for Trans/Genderqueer/ GNC folks.
