Training: Keeping a Survivor in School
Campus Location
Office/Remote Location
Room 1502
Description
If you work directly with either undergraduate or graduate students, you should attend this training. In one hour, you will learn the best way to help students who are victims of domestic or dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking. You will learn what to say when a student opens up to you about their experience, and what resources are available for them here at UNLV. You will also learn how difficult it is for students to persevere in their studies after this trauma, and how to help victims continue their education and overcome these obstacles. Because you care about your students, attend this training--we will help you help them.
