Technology Tools & Resources: Promoting Team/Group Based Work with Groups

Feb. 16, 2022, 10am to 11am

Office/Remote Location

During this synchronous workshop, participants will survey WebCampus tools to facilitate and support group collaboration in WebCampus. Group work requires student participation, accountability, and varied approaches to assessment. This is an audience-driven workshop, where we will discuss strategies to promote participation, accountability, and assessment using group work and collaboration examples from past courses. We also encourage you to bring a group or collaborative work sample to discuss your successes and challenges. The goal of the workshop is to support your efforts to promote and facilitate the best group and collaborative student work in your course.

By the end of this synchronous course, participants will be able to:

Identify the WebCampus tools available to support and promote group work in your course

Collaborate with colleagues to develop solutions for student participation, accountability, and group work assessment

Identify a module or component of your course that would benefit from group work
