Teach Online: Copyright Considerations
This session will help faculty overcome their fears about incorporating materials into their online courses. We will examine best practices for frequently used items like articles, video, and images. Participants will also gain insight about author's rights and how it can impact usage of their materials in an online environment.
Instructors completing this workshop will be able to:
- Gain a basic understanding of fair use
- Practice using a Fair Use Checklist
- Learn strategies for incorporating library resources into your online course
- Participants will be able to identify areas of journal publishing agreements for their own articles that address classroom and online use.
