Come be part of UNLV's Campus Recreational Services inaugural Job Fair from 9:30am - 12:30pm on either November 13 or 4:00pm to 6:00pm on the 14th at the UNLV Student Recreation and Wellness Center. Our team is looking for students that are eager to work and serve the UNLV community with excellent customer service skills. If you are looking for a convenient opportunity to work on campus, then we have the job for you!

Employment Requirements
Must maintain 2.25 GPA cumulative
2.0 GPA Semester
Minimum 10 hours a week availability (position dependent)
Must be an enrolled NSHE student
Must be able to attend New Staff Training
Jan 16th, 2020 (8am-5pm)
*Must become CPR/First Aid/AED certified within 30 days of hire
Facilities
Responsible for the daily front desk operations of CRS.
Provide excellent customer service.
Have a general knowledge of entirety of the facility and the programs and services offered.
Group Fitness
Classes instructors can teach

Fitness
Fitness Attendant
Responsible for the oversight and supervision of the fitness areas in the SRWC while on shift. Position is responsible for providing a clean, safe and welcoming environment for all users of the SRWC.
RWZ Attendant
Responsible for oversight and supervision of the Rebel Wellness Zone in the SRWC. Position is responsible for standard office and receptionist duties while providing good customer service.
Personal Trainer
Responsible for educating clients and enforcing policies regarding safe and proper use of equipment. Position is responsible for designing exercise program for clients of the UNLV community. *Certification required*
Intramural
No prior officiating experience necessary
Begin as a Program Assistant keeping Score and managing participants
Officiate up to 8 sports a year with training for each
Aquatics
Lifeguard
Responsible for patron surveillance and maintaining a safe pool environment
Complete cleaning and chemical check duties to ensure the pool is safe for patron use
American Red Cross Lifeguard certification required
Water Safety Instructor
Teach swim lessons to children and adults in a group or 1:1 setting
Plan and facilitate lessons to meet participant goals
American Red Cross WSI certification required
Lifeguard Instructor
Teach Lifeguard and CPR classes in accordance to American Red Cross standards
Lead peer skill groups
American Red Cross certification required
Outdoor Adventures
Rental Attendant
Manages the rental program by fulfilling orders and maintaining, cleaning, organizing, and repairing Outdoor Rental Equipment. Helps prepare for Outdoor Adventure Trips.
Trip Leader
Coordinates and leads multi-sport and multi-day outdoor adventure trips for students and the public. (Driver’s license required).
Bike Shop Attendant
Performs maintenance on bikes brought in by the public, as well as rental bikes. Organizes and leads workshops on basic bike repairs.
Bouldering Wall
Cleans and resets the bouldering wall with new problems on a regular basis. Leads workshops related to bouldering and safety
