Stop the Bleed is a national awareness campaign and a local call to action for our campuses.  Bystanders are always the first people that can assist during an emergency.  The minutes waiting for an emergency responder to arrive can be the different between life and death; so, it is critical for those nearest to be able to assist.

Risk Management and Safety (RMS) will be deploying 105 Stop the Bleed kits at most AED/First Aid stations located at UNLV Maryland Campus, Shadow Lane Campus and at Nevada State College.  Knowing how to use these kits will help students, staff and faculty Be RebelSAFE and may save a life!

RMS will be hosting an initial Stop the Bleed training class on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at 1:00 p.m., in CSB 164.  Training is free, but the experience is invaluable! Learn how to use these kits and click here to register today as spaces are limited.

Have questions about the program or upcoming training, please feel free to contact Emergency Manager, Yuri Graves at yuri.graves@unlv.edu or by phone, 702-895-5766. #BeRebelSAFE
