Description
As part of UNLV Research Week, the School of Public Health is hosting a seminar on "Elimination of Viral Hepatitis: National and Local Perspectives" on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2 p.m. at the Marjorie Barrick Museum. The focus of the presentations by the speakers will be on viral hepatitis elimination efforts at national and local levels. The World Health Organization (WHO) has set a goal of viral hepatitis elimination by 2030.
Speakers will include Dr. Mona Doshani from the CDC’s National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention as well as Assistant Professor of Epidemiology Dr. Brian Labus.
