Description

Calling ALL UNLV colleges, departments, and offices to join us in recognizing our first-generation students, faculty, and staff. Once again, this year's celebration will be campuswide!

How To Join In The Fun:

  • Block off Nov. 8 - 12 on your college or departmental calendar
  • Plan to join the kick-off celebration on Nov. 8
  • Celebrate your first-generation students, faculty, and staff during the First-Generation Celebration Breakfast on Nov. 9
  • Communicate with your students, faculty, and staff to identify first-generation members in your college, department, office, or floor who would like to participate
  • Decide how your area can help celebrate first-generation stories (We will even provide some ideas to get you started.)
  • Finalize your involvement or activities by Friday, Sept. 18, and enter your plans here.

Our kick-off will coincide with the National First-Generation College Celebration Day on Monday, November 8. Would you please plan to join us at 10 a.m. in the Green Space Courtyard as we begin our celebration and recognition of first-generation students, faculty, and staff?
