Reviver Performance Night

Campus Location
Description
REVIVER is a new performance art event hosted on UNLV campus. This event will feature UNLV students and local performers in a university setting. Performance art, art that combines visual art with dramatic performance, has a history of being interventionist and innovative. Performance allows artists to broadly experiment with a range of topics, including the body, politics, identity, and play. REVIVER is a new opportunity and venue adding to the already growing performance art community in Las Vegas. This is an outlet to provide space for the learning and viewing of Performance Art. Set at the MFA Graduate Studios housed in an old Carl’s Jr., we see REVIVER as a way to give new life and opportunity to the building.
REVIVER is a Performance Art presentation Directed by the UNLV MFA Grad Curating Team, which consists of Aaron Cowan, Fawn Douglas, Erin K. Drew, John McVay, and Laurence Myers Reese.
