We live in a VUCA world (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity) in which change is the norm. This workshop will help you understand how change affects us and what we can do to build resilience and flourish.

By attending this session, participants will:

  • Understand how resilience is necessary and its benefits during times of change
  • Learn how to develop resilience
  • Commit to take action to build resilience

About the Trainer

Lisa Barrington
Lisa Barrington Lisa is a certified coach, workplace & engagement strategist, and speaker with over 25 years of experience. She has worked with companies of all sizes and sectors, including healthcare, higher education, and finance. As a behavioral scientist, Lisa promotes learning, development, and organizational health in individual and group settings through coaching, strategic consulting, program facilitation, conference presentations, and university instruction.

Lisa is currently completing the requirements for a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Organizational Management. She is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coach Federation as well as a Board Certified Coach (BCC). Lisa is also certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) through the Human Resources Certification Institute and a Senior Certified Professional through the Society for Human Resources (SHRM-SCP).

Admission Information

Participation is free to all UNLV employees, registration is required, and space is limited. Because of the interactive and engaging nature of the training, you must join from a computer with a working video camera and microphone.
