The Office of Research invites you to attend our 2022-23 seminar series, “Tools and Resources for Navigating Health Sciences Research.” This next seminar, titled "Understanding Types of Reviews: Evidence Synthesis and Literature Reviews" will feature Aidy Weeks, MSLIS, AHIP from the UNLV School of Medicine Library at the the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine. They will discuss how to compare an evidence synthesis-related review to a literature review and their applicability to clinical scenarios. Attendees will learn to design the general steps for an evidence synthesis project and a literature review. At the end of the seminar, attendees will better understand how to publish literature reviews. This seminar will be virtual via Zoom.
This session is approved for one (1) hour live/virtual AAFP Prescribed Credit. AMA/AAFP Equivalency: AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)™ toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed, not as Category 1.
