Co-facilitated by A.L. Carson and Matthew Murray, Visiting Library Fellows, this unConference will offer an opportunity for faculty to hear from campus partners, engage in discussions on topics related to their data needs, eat lunch, and learn more about Research Data Management at UNLV.
An unConference is a participant-oriented event where attendees choose the topics and structure the interactions, emphasizing conversations over presentations. This event features lunch, lightning talks from invited UNLV speakers, knowledge-sharing, and a wrap-up session.
After voting on the topics for discussion, attendees will have the chance to move between conversations in an environment intended to foster networking and connection building, ending with a group follow-up and feedback session.
The unConference is for faculty of all disciplines interested in learning more about research data management practices and resources.
Registration is required for both lunch and to indicate interests and questions related to this topic.
