Rebel Recreation Strength and Conditioning Program
Rebel Rec Strength and Conditioning Class is a new program that will consist of a 4 week progressive Strength and Condition Program. The program will be aimed for intermediate and advanced exercisers meaning all participants must be able to perform bodyweight exercises such as push-ups, squats, planks, crunches, and hip hinging. This program will be unique in that the users will be committed for 4 weeks, and will meet twice a week. Each class will be important to attend as we will be implementing new movements and steps each class. Rebel Fitness Assessment will be included prior to program and/or within the first week of the program. This class will be a progression from our strength based Rebel X Classes.
The agenda of the class will consist of the following areas but not limited to.
- Introduction of class for the day
- Warm ups
- Strength training
- Active rest
- Cardio training
- Core training
- Cool down/stretch
- Debrief of the class
What to Bring
Athletic clothing and shoes, towel, water bottle, positive attitude!
Graduate Assistant for Fitness, Drew Caustrita, along with a personal trainer; will allow for more instructions and attention to each participant

Equipment That Will Be Used:
Ladders, plyo boxes, barbell, bumper plates, kettle bells, mats, spin bikes, medicine balls, battle ropes, and dumbbells
Sign Up Process:
This 4-week program will be free for the summer. Patrons will sign up online or register at a computer in the Rebel Wellness Zone (RWZ) on the 2nd floor in the SRWC.
This event is free for SRWC members.
Program is intended for intermediate or advanced fitness levels. Must be able to perfrom squats, push-ups, planks, crunches, and sprints multiple times. There will also be a conditioning test that involves a 1 mile run.
