Rebel Recharge - How Las Vegas Can Come Back - Free virtual workshop
Join us on Friday, May 15 for a free virtual workshop - How Las Vegas Can Come Back presented by Dr. David G. Schwartz, Associate Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs and UNLV Professor. Las Vegas has never witnessed a crisis like the one brought by COVID-19. A city-based on connections has found itself in a world where connections are liabilities. While many can’t wait for things to get back to “normal,” it is becoming clear that, when the world starts connecting again, it will likely be quite different. For the past seventy years, Las Vegas has evolved to serve a world that has seemingly gone away. But that doesn’t mean we’ll have to start from scratch as we rebuild post-pandemic. Las Vegas grew in the past because it was resilient and adaptable. In this discussion, Dr. Schwartz will explore how Las Vegas can adapt to be a paragon of a healthy, prosperous, and caring community.
