R.A.D. Self-Defense Training
R.A.D. (Rape Aggression Defense) classes are intended to teach participants to take an active role in their own self-defense. Participants acquire self defense education through realistic tactics and techniques. This course covers awareness, prevention, risk reduction and avoidance, while developing a basic hands-on defense training surrounding the premise of spontaneous attacks.
University Police Services is hosting a FREE four day self-defense class open to all female students, faculty, staff, and community members on the College of Southern Nevada, Desert Research Institute, Nevada State College, and University of Nevada, Las Vegas campuses.
Sessions will be taking place from 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on:
- Tuesday, February 11
- Thursday, February 13
- Tuesday, February 18
- Thursday, February 20
**This is a four-day course. Attendees must attend all four sessions.
Future sessions will be available monthly, hosted at other varying campus locations. So check back if you're unable to attend!
