During this synchronous workshop, participants will apply principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) using WebCampus tools. UDL is a learning approach that leverages the flexibility of technology to offer options to diverse learners. This session will survey the assignment, discussion, and quiz submission types that provide students with options to demonstrate their learning. This workshop will evaluate examples of these varied assignments and submission types from a variety of actual courses.
By the end of this synchronous course, participants will be able to:
- Understand the components of UDL that apply to evidence of student learning
- Collaborate with colleagues to outline an assignment that supports student choice and autonomy
