President’s Innovation Challenge

Apr. 6, 2022, 4pm to 6:30pm

Office/Remote Location

Thomas & Mack Center Strip View Pavilion

COVID-19 changed the world. And in Las Vegas, it achieved the unimaginable: it closed the Strip.

When the city’s famous lights went off in 2020, Las Vegans realized that we need more resilience, economic diversity, and ingenuity for Southern Nevada to survive and thrive.

Join us for UNLV's inaugural President’s Innovation Challenge, where you’ll hear diverse teams of students present their innovative solutions to this challenge: How do we make Las Vegas’ economy more resilient, diversified, and sustainable?

A  panel of judges will select winners and award prizes, including  $20,000 for the winning team.

This event will be livestreamed on YouTube.
