Description

The Greenspun College of Urban Affairs and UNLV Sanford I. Berman Debate Forum will host a watch party for the 2016 presidential primary debate. 

The Republican candidate primary debate will be held March 10. Catch the live-stream at Greenspun Hall's auditorium. 

  • Join students, faculty and community members for a pre-debate reception and refreshments from 5-6 p.m. in the lobby of Greenspun Hall. 

A panel of UNLV and community experts will provide post-debate analysis.

The panelists are:

  • Jacob Thompson, associate professor of communication studies and director of the Sanford I. Berman Debate Forum at the UNLV Greenspun College of Urban Affairs
  • Tiffiany Howard, associate professor, UNLV Department of Political Science
  • Michael Green, associate professor of history at UNLV's College of Liberal Arts, and political columnist for Vegas Seven Magazine
  • Gregory Borchard, journalism professor, UNLV Hank Greenspun School of Journalism & Media Studies

 

There will also be a Democratic candidate primary debate watch party on Feb. 11 hosted by the Greenspun College of Urban Affairs and the UNLV Debate team.

This is a nonpartisan event. Political solicitation will not be allowed.
