POSTPONED NOTICE
This event has been postponed to the fall semester.
There are many ways to participate in democracy above and beyond voting. In order to truly have a government of the people, by the people, for the people, we must hold our representatives accountable. Activism can be as easy as expressing your opinion and perspective about laws, regulations, and policies. This workshop will teach you how to:
- Submit comments on federal regulations ranging from immigration to conservation.
- Find out who your representatives are at all levels of government.
- Engage in different methods of contact through phone calls, social media, and automated text message.
This workshop is part of the University Libraries' Civic Engagement Series 2020.
